Overview

The Princeton Neuroscience Institute has a Research Specialist I position available in the lab of Professor Ken Norman. The Research Specialist will assist with the design and implementation of cutting-edge data analysis pipelines that use deep learning to reconstruct perceived information from functional MRI in real time. They will also have the opportunity to assist with the design, programming, and execution of other behavioral, EEG, MEG, and fMRI studies, analysis and archiving of data collected from these studies, subject recruitment, and some administrative work. Depending on qualifications/interest, the research specialist may also assist with developing computational models of learning and memory using deep neural networks. Responsibilities

- Design and implementation of real-time fMRI analysis pipelines

- Assisting with other scientific tasks (setting up experiments, collecting data, analyzing data, computational modeling)

- Subject recruitment, and some administrative work


Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree plus 2 years experience in psychology, neuroscience, computer science, or a related field (e.g., physics, engineering) is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with machine learning methods for neural data analysis and strong programming skills.
