Essential Job Duties | The Research Specialist plays a critical role in designing and executing scientific experiments, gathering and analyzing data, and implementing innovative methodologies to enhance research outcomes. This position involves not only conducting experiments but also contributing to the improvement of research quality and team productivity. The Research Specialist assists with grant submissions, manuscript preparations, and provides support for troubleshooting research-related issues. Moreover, they are responsible for managing laboratory operations and communication within the team. Duties of the Research Specialist include:
At present, this position is listed as time-limited for one (1) year, with a maximum time-limited status of 3 years. However, the position has the potential to become permanent if future funding is secured for its continuation. |

Qualifications
Minimum Experience/Education | Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. |
