The University of Dayton Research Institute’s (UDRI) Software Systems Group is in search of motivated, innovative team members to further ongoing government research in symbiotic cognitive computing systems.

You will work with other researchers with diverse technical backgrounds and mentor junior software engineers. Strong applicants will be team-oriented self-starters capable of working effectively on their own or in small groups.

Our team creates user environments that enable decision makers to visualize, analyze, and compare possible courses of action for dynamic planning and operations management. The instrumented environments connect the user via natural language processing (NLP), gesture recognition, and graphical interfaces to decision-aiding cognitive services that enumerate, cluster, and evaluate potential choices.
