About the Opportunity

The School of Nursing Research Scientist will lead the development and implementation of research studies designed to further the clinical and scholarship goals of the SON. This will be accomplished through mixed-methods studies with aims to increase understanding of people’s experiences and understandings of mental health and substance use among healthcare providers and students. The Research Scientist will supervise a multi-generation research team of student researchers and will work closely with dean of the school of nursing to lead all aspects of the research studies, dissemination of findings, and development of proposals for additional external funding.

  • PhD or related degree required in a field related to the research focus
  • Experience of developing and leading mixed-methods research
  • Experience supervising staff and student research teams
