The Department of Chemistry has an outstanding opportunity for a Research Scientist/Engineer II to join their team.

This Research Scientist II is expected to independently evaluate, select, and apply scientific techniques and procedures to conduct research in the field of materials and physical chemistry, as well as theoretical and computation chemistry, under the guidance of Professor Xiaosong Li. This position will focus on ongoing work in computational nanomaterials and methods for identifying spectroscopic signatures. The incumbent will rely on their education and applicable experience to exercise judgment and make adaptations and modifications to procedures or techniques to achieve optimal scientific data or results.
