The Department of Urology currently has an opportunity for a full-time Research Scientist/Engineer 2 (NE S UAW RSE). This position is in the Department of Urology's Lam Laboratory. This position involves mouse experiments and mammalian tissue culture. The employee will assist in acquiring human biospecimens, processing the specimens according to established protocols for tissue culture, and maintain proper lab records.

The employee will facilitate several ongoing research projects spanning basic science studies and clinical medicine, and interactions with several University Departments (Urology, Medicine, and Pathology) as well as collaborations with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. The employee will be responsible for following general guidelines and performing experiments under the supervision of Dr. Lam.
