The Eroglu Lab in the Duke University Department of Cell Biology seeks a temporary Research Scholar with a strong background in Cellular Molecular Neuroscience. 

Principal responsibilities for this position include the following: 

• Designing and performing experiments successfully and collecting and analyzing data related to your research project in the Eroglu Laboratory. 

• Keeping proper records of your experiments and resulting data in a way that is in line with the provided guidelines. 

• Presenting your data in lab meetings and departmental seminars in an organized, logical manner 

• Demonstrating commitment to training and career advancement 

• Preparing your findings for publication and addressing reviewer comments. 

• Contributing to the training and advancement of graduate students and other lab personnel 

• 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Recent Ph.D. with a strong background in Cellular Molecular Neuroscience, with specialized training in mouse behavioral analyses of goal-directed actions, is preferred. 

This will be a 9-month appointment, contingent upon satisfactory reviews. The position is located at the Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, NC. To apply, please send a CV, statement of interest, and relevant manuscripts. 

The Research Scholar Appointee holds a PhD or equivalent doctorate (e.g.ScD, MD, DVM). Candidates with non-US degrees may be required to provide proof of degree equivalency.

Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate (e.g. Sc.D., M.D., D.V.M.). 

Other Credential/Experiential Requirements:

Visiting scholar engaging in temporary research at Duke.
