Position Summary
The Research Project Coordinator work with principal investigators to submit and maintain the research protocol to IRB, conduct data management, coordinate the efforts with internal and external partners, perform data analysis and contribute to the manuscript writing.

Required Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work independently; effective oral and written communication skills; effective interpersonal, organizing, and collaboration skills; proficiency in use of computers, including MS Office applications and databases; and ability to meet deadlines are strongly desired. Relevant work experience in university research or research administration will also be valuable, as well as awareness of federal compliance regulations and guidelines for grants and contracts, proficiency in technical writing, editing, and proofreading.
Preferred Education: Master's degree

Epidemiology, Psychology, Economics, Statistics, Public Health, Neuroscience, Biomedical Informatics.
PhD in Health Promotion, Epidemiology, Psychology, Economics, Statistics, or Public Health.
Preferred Experience:
• Proficient in analyzing public data sets, including PATH, ABCD, NYTS, BRFSS, YRBSS, NHANES.
• Experienced in implementing machine learning algorithms, particularly random forest, using R.
• Willing to learn new concepts and undergo training to acquire new skills. Open to adapting coding practices from provided training materials.
• Previous experience in university research or research administration is advantageous, along with skills in technical writing, editing, and proofreading.
• Strong writing skills for summarizing findings from literature reviews, coding survey variables, and analyzing longitudinal data using SAS, R, or Mplus.
• Open to receiving training in R or Mplus using existing software packages.
