Job Summary
Responsibilities
Direct research project that focuses on the mechanisms of skin carcinogenesis by environmental exposure and chemoprevention.
Perform complex research projects in the area of cellular biology, molecular biology, chemical biology and signal transduction.
Coordinate work with other scientists in the laboratory, collaborate effectively on joint research projects, and take part in lab management.
Recognize abnormal results and trouble shoot conditions or procedures to correct problems.
Adapt existing procedures to current work needs and make significant contributions to methodology.
Summarize results and assist in interpreting experimental findings.
Prepare manuscripts, grant applications, and presentations at meetings.
Collaborates on development of new research projects with academic and community-based organizations.
May present work at scientific meetings.
Performs other related work as needed.
