Research Nurse I/RRT-Clinical Research

A Research Nurse manages clinical course of research volunteers according to research protocol. Assesses physical health and administers treatments throughout study.   This role specifically follows study specific protocol guidelines.  
Ideal candidate would have prior clinical research experience who is highly detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
This position is 100% grant funded. 
This position will work Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm; depending upon research needs position may require evening, weekend, and holiday work. 
Please note, this position will be working out of Bergan Mercy Hospital and final candidate selected would need to meet their on-boarding requirements.   
Qualifications:
Associates' Degree in Nursing; 
2-4 years clinical experience preferably in a research setting;
Intermediate to advanced proficiency skills in MS Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Knowledge of specialized medical/scientific terminology; 
Knowledge of medication and proper dosages; 
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community; 
Ability to maintain confidentiality;
Maintain HIPPA compliance requirements; 
Ability to analyze and interpret statistical data;
Ability to function effectively as a team member, while exercising independent and critical judgment;
Ability to coordinate and prioritize work with multiple and conflicting demands in a deadline-oriented environment
Required Licenses/Certifications:
State of Nebraska RN License
Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) Preferred

Seeing: 75 – 100%
Hearing: 75-100%
Standing/Climbing/Mobility: 75-100%
Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: 75-100% (pound: 20 lbs.)
Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: 75 – 100%
Travel: No
