We are soliciting applications for an individual to assist in carrying out behavioral studies of SCA3 natural history, genetically edited, and therapy-treated SCA3 mouse models. The successful applicant will be expected to administer studies from inception to data analysis and is required to maintain detailed, well-organized records of experiments, findings, and more. Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's previous experience.

The ideal candidate should offer:

  • Impeccable organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply new lab research methods and techniques.
  • Eagerness and capability to work with mice in a laboratory environment.
  • Acceptance and aptitude towards following instructions during the training period.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and record-keeping skills.
  • Self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.
  • Interpersonal skills suitable to function harmoniously with a diverse workforce (consisting of laboratory staff, university personnel, sales representatives).
  • Computer literacy, particularly in word processing and spreadsheet software.
