Responsibilities*
- Project Management, managing day to day operations for the collaborative Drug Induced Liver Injury project.
- Experimental design and conduct experiments for drug screening.
- Data analysis and curation including statistical analyses for screening data.
- Provide technical assistance and access to equipment to collaborators.
- Co-author research publications and create and deliver formal presentations.
- Consultations with clients to develop research plans.
Required Qualifications*
- Doctorate in field of expertise or Master's plus equivalent experience.
- 6+ years experience in field.
Desired Qualifications*
- PhD in biochemistry, immunology or related field
- Expertise in high content imaging
- Expertise in cell culture
- Expertise in drug handling, solubilization, and basic chemical methods.
- Experience in high content image analysis.
Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
