Performing research studies

Molecular biology and immunology assays (e.g., ELISA, isolation of RNA and PCR, flow cytometry)

Animal (mouse) studies including survival surgeries and monitoring

General maintenance of lab equipment and inventory, lab cleanliness, restocking of solutions, etc.

Maintaining documentation and compliance with research regulations and policies, including lab safety, renewing IACUC protocols, and inspections

Required Qualifications*

BS/BA or equivalent in biology, chemistry, or related scientific field and 4-5 years experienceHands on lab experience

Background Screening

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.  Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
