Position Summary Information


Job Description Summary
Research lab assistant need to work in the Wright laboratory.
Responsibilities
Maintain 300+ hermit crabs and 1-2 rock crabs and lobsters in the Wright seawater tanks.
Order supplies and help other students. The lab assistant selected for this position will maintain 2 large aquaria and several small aquaria, including making fresh artificial seawater with the proper salinity, check pH levels, keep laboratory clean and orderly, assist new undergraduates with their experiments.
Required Qualifications
Knowledge about working with hermit crabs, rock crabs and lobsters preferred.
