Position Details
General Statement | The Office of Sponsored Programs serves as the central administrative entity and acts as the institutional representative responsible for approving and submitting research proposals to Federal, State and Private sponsors for external research funding and implementing awards resulting from these proposals. OSP is comprised of research administrators that work in partnership with faculty and researchers to ensure that proposals and then awards conform and are managed according to sponsor guidelines, federal and state regulations and University policies, as well as management tasks with a focus on regulatory compliance, financial requirements and customer support. |

Duties and Responsibilities | The Research Administrator is an integral role within the Office of Sponsored Programs and supports the assigned departments and faculty/researchers within a defined portfolio of grants with the administration of pre and post-award. Using independent judgment they will be responsible for coordinating administrative and accounting functions including the following responsibilities:
