Summary

Opportunities for creative and motivated postdocs to participate in cutting-edge exciting research projects that investigate gut leukocyte trafficking during inflammatory diseases and mucosal wound repair. Our studies employ state-of-the-art immunology, molecular/cell biology, imaging, and multi-omics (proteomics, single-cell sequencing including spatial transcriptomics) approaches. Experimental approaches also utilize many genetically modified mice, stem cell derived organoids and human tissues.

Responsibilities*

Successful candidates will be expected to design and execute experiments in a highly collaborative research group, publish results in peer-reviewed journals and participate in preparation and submission of research grant applications under the guidance of two principal investigators with expertise in mucosal immunology and epithelial biology and will become part of a well-funded, highly productive, and collaborative team of multi-national investigators in a modern and well-equipped laboratory space.  Within the group, there is a strong commitment to mentorship and an excellent record of success for both academic and industrial-career track-oriented individuals.


Required Qualifications*

Ph.D. or equivalent with excellent scientific writing, strong oral communication skills, highly motivated and organized.  Preference will be given to individuals with proficiency in innate and/or adaptive immune cell biology, flow cytometry, RNA seq, and mouse models of inflammation.


Background Screening
