The Research Data Manager contributes to the growth and success of the Department of Radiology by executing the mission and vision. The research data manager for the Northwest Screening and Outcomes Research Enterprise (NW-SCORE) will manage a large “big data” imaging registry for breast cancer screening. NW-SCORE is a unique partnership between the University of Washington (UW) Medicine and community radiology and pathology practices in the Pacific Northwest to aggregate de-identified breast imaging data with the goal of improving population-based screening outcomes. The Research Data Manager is expected to develop a deep understanding of the data compiled in the registry and will act as subject matter expert for data structure and quality for NW-SCORE, respond to queries and resolve issues with local investigators, external partners, and collaborating researchers.
