Position DescriptionThe Christina Lee Brown Envirome Institute of the University of Louisville is inviting applications for the position of Research Coordinator in the Division of Environmental Medicine, Department of Medicine. The primary function is to oversee and facilitate research activities in the Envirome Institute Human Subject Service Center. This includes participating in clinical study visits; coordinating with the internal and external partners for studies; assist center users to schedule visits, meetings, and regulatory submissions; manage data and cross-check databases; and ensure Human Subject Service protocols are in regulatory compliance and conducted properly in the field. Candidate is preferred to have phlebotomy and clinical skills including nasal swabbing; background in research techniques; strong background in clinical and scientific terminology; experience in data handling and storage; Word processing; understanding and familiarity with regulations governing human studies research.
