Research Coordinator I

Looking for a Research Coordinator I who is a dependable, flexible, motivated, and detail-oriented individual needed to support a National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded research study pertaining to childhood cancer survivorship, access to healthcare, and biopsychosocial outcomes under the direction of Dr. Kimberly Miller.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a health-related field with 1-2 years relevant experience in research. The individual will report directly to the Project Administrator. Employment involves participant recruitment and data management, conducting in-person clinical visits, and providing project support to the research study and study staff personnel and faculty. Excellent English writing and speaking skills are required. Flexible working hours including evenings and weekends is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in cancer research and cancer-related health disparities and is organized and self-motivated. Experience with REDCap database and prior work with recruitment of cancer patients and survivors is required
The hourly rate range for this position is $30.62 - $35.56. Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree, Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education Minimum Experience: 1 year Minimum Field of Expertise: Administrative or research experience. Working knowledge of MS Office applications. Demonstrated effective communication and writing skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
