Position Summary:


The Center for Women and Work (CWW) housed in the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations, engages in research, education and programming that promotes economic and social equity for women workers, their families, and communities. CWW focuses on addressing women's economic stability and well-being; women's advancement in the workplace; providing technical assistance and designing research and programming for educators, industry and government; and engaging in issues that directly affect the living standards of working families in New Jersey and around the world. 
CWW is seeking to fill part time research coadjutant. The successful candidate will provide research and policy analysis to build our repository of research evidence and policy models that support children (0-3) and their families. Specifically, we are looking for candidates who can engage in secondary data analysis and desktop research that will address:
·         Child care affordability in New Jersey
·         Accessibility/utilization of New Jersey's childcare subsidy system 
·         Policies that encourage the growth a retention of the child care workforce
·         Policies that improve child care subsidy accessibility
·         Policies that support child care affordability for working parents 
·         Other related research needs as required 

Minimum Education and Experience:


PhD or Master's degree in economics, social policy, sociology, or other related degree.
Applicants demonstrating experience authoring a range of materials (issue briefs, research manuscripts, fact sheets) grounded in research evidence for a broad audience will receive preference.
