Summary

The Paulus Advanced Retinal Imaging and Laser Laboratory is seeking a motivated research associate to assist in eye research of retinal imaging technologies and treatments for eye disease specifically of retinal oximetry.

Responsibilities*

Our Advanced Retinal Imaging and Laser Laboratory is a dynamic, diverse, multidisciplinary group dedicated to improving the vision of patients suffering from eye diseases through applying biomedical engineering, biodesign, lasers, optics, physics, and nanoparticles. We are developing novel multimodal retinal imaging systems, laser therapies, and long-lasting sustained therapies like microneedles and nanoneedles. Our team includes a lab manager, undergraduates, medical students, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, residents, and fellows. You will be assisting in research in the development and implementation of novel optical imaging systems specifically to develop and utilize a clinical retinal oximetry system in patients through data acquisition and analysis. You will additionally assist in writing manuscripts and abstracts for publication and presentation at conference. You will be working with a research team, including with patients and partner research groups, and ensuring appropriate documentation and regulatory compliance.


Required Qualifications*
  • HS Diploma or Assoc Degree and 0-1 year experience required.

Background Screening
