Required Qualifications*

Job description: A transdisciplinary group of faculty and community partners are working to address chronic flooding in Metro Detroit. We are looking to hire an undergraduate research assistant to join the project. The candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • Knowledge or interest in the intersection of urban planning and public health
  • Knowledge or interest in implications of climate change and aging infrastructure in Metro Detroit
  • Strong written and oral communication skills 
  • Skills or interest in gaining skills in development of reports/infographics/policy  briefs to share research findings, grant writing, survey data collection
  • Ability to work in transdisciplinary research team
