Job Summary

Attention University of Michigan-Dearborn Students:  The College of Education, Health, and Human Services (CEHHS) seeks to hire a student to assist with research on English as a Second Language (ESL) education with data analysis.  This work will occur for the remainder of the 2021 Winter semester and the 2021 Summer semester. 

  • Work with data collected from children at the Early Childhood Education Center (2-5 years old).

  • Qualitative and quantitative data analysis skills in education context.

  • Develop summary analysis, including tables and charts.

  • Analytical and statistical softwares include NVivo, SPSS, and Excel. 

  • Assist in writing of observations, interviews, reporting, and articles.

Required Qualifications*
  • Qualitative and quantitative data analysis skills in education context and ability to develop summary analysis, including summary tables and charts.

  • Proficiency in the use of analytical and statistical softwares: NVivo, SPSS, and Excel.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

  • Communication skills: oral & written.
