The University of Michigan, School of Nursing (UMSN), has an immediate need for a part-time, temporary Research Assistant to assist the faculty Principal Investigator (PI) and research team on a series of projects focused on improved healthcare quality and safety (e.g., interprofessional communication, nurse engagement in QI). The research assistant will have responsibility for a variety of project activities, including but not limited to literature synthesis, coordinating and implementing study related activities, and scholarly writing for presentations and publications. Specific activities within the position may include the following:

  • Literature search, critique, and synthesis
  • Manuscript and presentation abstract preparation
  • Data management
  • Participation in experimental design and intervention implementation
  • Study coordination and study participant engagement
