The Department of Biology at Colorado State University (CSU) is one of eight departments in the College of Natural Sciences. The Department has a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching, as well as excellence in research.
The Department of Biology has an international reputation for excellence in research across a broad array of disciplines, including cell and molecular biology, physiology of plants or animals, animal behavior, ecology, evolutionary biology and computational/theoretical biology.

Applicants must hold at least a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline.
- Level I is for individuals with less than 3 years of professional, post-baccalaureate experience.

The open pool positions are available for people to apply for 6 months. If/when a faculty member decides to hire a Research Associate, they may elect to hire from the candidates in this open pool.
