Applications are invited for a research associate position studying cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying developmental plasticity to work in the research group of Dr. Oliver Schlüter. Successful candidates have as minimal requirement a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, one first author peer-reviewed publication in an international journal, at least 3 years of post-doctoral research experience performing slice patch-clamp electrophysiological recording from rodents, and experience in in vivo electrophysiology. Additional preferred qualifications include expertise in viral vector design and cloning, and extensive training in animal models of sensory perception.
