Position Summary
This position will focus on studies of novel biomedical imaging and therapeutic techniques, largely in oncology applications, across multiple collaborations. Responsibilities will include research design, implementation of research procedures, data analysis and interpretation of results. A substantial focus will include coordinating and conducting large pre-clinical experiments and supporting in-vivo studies during imaging/therapy system testing, and applications in preclinical environments. Additional responsibilities will involve contributing to papers, reports, and proposals.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Relevant post-Baccalaureate degree required (or foreign degree equivalent); for candidates demonstrating comparable independent research productivity, will accept a relevant Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) and 3 or more years of relevant experience in substitution. May require terminal degree and licensure.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
At least 3 years of experience supporting pre-clinical research. Commitment to IACUC standards is paramount. This position will involve working with a team, and thus excellent organizational and communication skills are required. 
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Prior experience working within a group in preclinical experiments that include ultrasound imaging and acoustics is not a requirement, but will be very beneficial. Experience with Excel, Word, and Powerpoint will be essential for record keeping and data analysis.
