Depending on the particular collaborations interesting biostatistics/data science research opportunities may arise, although it is not the emphasis of the position. Working on these projects will involve the coding and implementation of genomic pipelines and computational workflows, data management, statistical analysis, data visualization, and possible method exploration and development.
The collaboration needs for this position are focused on ‘omics data sets including genetics, transcriptomics, epigenetics, metabolomics, microbiome and others, in addition to the integration of multi-‘omics data or with other high dimensional data. Particular data types that are expected to be focused on include mass cytometry, spectral flow cytometry, single-cell RNA sequencing, highly multiplexed imaging modalities, as well as DNA methylation and chromatin accessibility.
