Job Description

This position is to assist in the Ultrasound Imaging Laboratory at TAMU. More specifically, the individual would need to possess a strong background in ultrasound, elasticity imaging and mathematical modeling of biological tissues as well as knowledge of tissue simulation software and programming software.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing models and methods for ultrasound applications
  • Helping with ultrasound experimental data acquisition and analysis
  • Helping writing papers and grant proposals
  • Participate to lab meetings and other activities

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

Preferred Education:

  • Ph.D. Degree.
     

Required Experience:

  • Two years of related professional experience.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in medical imaging and mathematical models of biological tissues, ultrasound, data acquisition, processing and statistical analysis.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of ABAQUS, knowledge of programming software, experience with writing grant proposals and paper, fluent in English.
