The Mena-Segovia Laboratory, Center for Molecular and Behavioral Neuroscience (CMBN), School of Arts and Sciences, Rutgers University-Newark, seeks a Research Associate with at least 5 years of postdoctoral experience in Systems Neuroscience to begin August 1, 2020. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of experimental techniques including neuronal tracing, in vivo electrophysiology, optogenetics, and behavior in rodents. The candidate is expected to (1) develop their own research project focusing on the neuronal circuits that underlie appetitive behavior, (2) support other ongoing research projects in the lab, (3) write research articles, (4) write and submit grant applications, and (5) train and supervise graduate and undergraduate students. This is a grant-funded position.

Minimum Education and Experience
