Position Summary | The UNC University School of Medicine and the Department of Neurosurgery invite applications for a fixed term Research Associate Professor position. The successful candidate will spend 100% of their time in research activities and will be expected to establish an externally funded independent research program, provide exemplary mentorship, and engage in productive scientific collaborations. A strong basic and clinical research program in brain tumor therapies is desired with the opportunity for robust collaborations in translational neuro-oncology. Ability to establish collaborative relationships with foundations and industry partners is highly desired. |
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements | PhD in Neuroscience, Biochemistry, or related field. |
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience | Interest and focus on the development of novel therapies for brain tumors. |
