The Wig Neuroimaging Lab is currently conducting a neuroimaging study –The Midlife Brain Environment Study (MBES)– which is an ongoing, longitudinal research project aimed at understanding how factors in an individual's environment and lifestyle impact their brain aging and cognitive ability. This dataset is enriched to include participants from under-represented segments of the population. In addition to brain imaging and cognitive and sensory motor data collection, MBES also includes the collection of biospecimens, activity tracking using passive sensors, and ecological momentary assessment.
The post-doctoral associate will work on MBES and be responsible for developing study-specific data processing pipelines for the multiple types of data that are collected, and analyzing data collected under the project. There will also be an opportunity to curate, process, and analyze other datasets that are used in various lifespan brain imaging projects in the lab. Background in processing and analysis of human brains is required for this position.
