City of Hope is looking for a Research Associate I to join Dr. Crystal Marconett’s Lab. The ideal candidate will manage next generation sequencing, data analysis, spearheading experimentation in alignment with senior lab members, organoid co-culture, immunofluorescence staining and protocol optimization, writing of results and editing of manuscripts, etc. Please visit here for more information on the Marconett Lab.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Conduct diverse research experiments using established protocols and cutting-edge laboratory equipment.
  • Modify protocols as needed and document procedures in standard operating procedures and reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of methodologies, results, and data compilation, including calculations and graphical representations.
  • Develop specialized skills in relevant laboratory research areas to support ongoing projects.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols in material handling, storage, and disposal during all laboratory activities.
