The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Carnegie Mellon University ranked among the top programs in the United States, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. We are an extremely collaborative department with ties to several multidisciplinary institutes and centers. We collaborate with colleagues around the world through a number of research and educational programs. We have world-class experimental and computing infrastructure, including state-of-the-art nanofabrication facilities.

We are seeking a Research Associate for Professor Pulkit Grover's research team. In this role, you will assist in the development and execution of research projects including experiment design, analysis of data collected and writing up experiment results.

Core responsibilities include:

  • May program software in support of job functions. Attends project meetings.
  • Identifies problems and obstacles to progress; develops strategies to solve problems.
  • Summarizes statistical information for analysis, examination or presentation; writes technical reports. May build and validate quantitative models.
  • Research Associate working on machine learning for neurostimulation and DARPA N3 a time-sensitive project with monthly reports and deliverables.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-3 years of Research Experience
  • 1-3 years of Data Collection and Analysis Experience
