Research Associate - Electrical and Computer Engineering

Carnegie Mellon University’s department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is searching for a research associate to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by assisting in the development and execution of research projects, including experiment design, analysis of data collected, and writing up experiment results.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Performing research experiments following experimental protocol and procedures.

  • Summarizing statistical information for analysis, examination or presentation.

  • Using a variety of software packages to input, manipulate, collect and record results or observations.

  • Other duties as assigned.

You should demonstrate:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong research skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 1-3 years of research experience

Requirements:

  • Successful background check
