Job Description:

This position will support the research program of Dr. Josh Cisler. Dr. Cisler conducts neuroimaging and clinical trial research with traumatized adolescent and adult samples. This individual will be responsible for the implementation of assigned research studies and clinical trials, including recruitment, consenting, administration of assessments, budgeting, study conduct, monitoring, and data management and quality control.

General Notes

This is a grant funded position with an end date of 5/31/23, renewable based upon availability of funding, work performance, and progress toward research goals.

Responsibilities

Study Coordination:

Identify, recruit, and consent research subjects.

Administer assessments, call subjects for follow-up as outlined within research protocols.

Protocols Management:

Maintaining regulatory compliance with IRB and federal guidelines.

Assist Principle Investigators with research-related tasks such as preparation of manuscripts, progress reports, and grant submissions

Lab Management:

Manage research administrative tasks such as maintaining supply inventories, ordering and maintaining equipment, and preparing subject payments.

Assist in the supervision, coordination, and management of graduate and undergraduate research assistants (student hourly position holders) hired to assist with research projects.

Manage Database:

Maintain project databases and records, including data entry.

Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and some research experience in psychiatry, psychology, neuroscience, or related discipline. Professional demeanor with tact and respect at all times. Ability to address individuals and information with a high degree of sensitivity and confidentiality in various delicate, formal or urgent situations. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Outstanding organizational and time-management skills. Demonstrated critical thinking skills and excellent attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work well with a culturally diverse group of faculty, staff, and students, including the willingness and ability to train and oversee undergraduate and graduate students. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in psychology / neuroscience with experience working on research projects with clinical populations.

Salary Range

$40,000 + depending on qualifications

Working Conditions
