Job Overview
The Research Associate serves as a lab manager in the Shepard Laboratory within the Department of Human Science, maintaining several (up to 4) independent research projects and assisting in the training and supervision of undergraduate research students. They also maintain the in vivo model organisms used in the lab, and assist in the organization and general maintenance of the lab and all shared HSCI research spaces.
Work Interactions
Reporting to the Principal Investigator/Assistant Professor, the Research Associate may - as assigned - supervise undergraduate students from either the School of Health or Georgetown College.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry or a related field
