This position conducts research in the area of advanced technology vehicles; works with other team members in modeling, simulation, HIL evaluation, prototyping and testing of advanced vehicle systems; supports field research activities; extracts and analyzes experimental and modeling results and prepares technical reports for sponsors review; performs and monitors experiments; collaborates with industry to refine research methods and incorporate them into commercial products; assists graduate students, visiting scholars and other colleagues with their research; assists in identifying, writing and preparing proposals to pursue new funding opportunities; manages project time lines and budgets; plans and coordinates meetings with industrial partners; conducts internal and external research meetings.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and education
Major: Electrical Engineering

Experience:

Required:


2 years in an engineering research capacity; excellent verbal and written
communication skills; proficiency with Matlab, Simulink, Autonomie, dSPACE Software, IBM Doors, Motohawk, Raptor, and coding in C/C++.

Desired:
Project management training or experience; experience working in team environments

The target hiring range for this job profile is $67,700 - $90,300. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
