Essential Functions (Job Duties)
Conduct research in a cancer related field, specifically in the area of DNA repair and translational approaches to improving cisplatin efficacy. The work will consist mainly of cell culture, protein expression and protein purification.
Perform general lab duties and experiments(cell culture, drug toxicity assays and protein purification) as well as lab management and oversight of lab orders.
Bachelor's degree required.
One year minimum experience with Mammalian and Insect cell culture, Cell transfection, Protein detection, Protein purification, Preparation of cell lysates.
Lab management skills.
Graphing software experience.
