Position Overview | Research assistant position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Suh, in the Department of Pharmaceutical Science at UNTHSC to study metabolism study by using NMR and Mass. We are looking for independent and highly motivated individual to join our team as a part of new lab set up. |

Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. |

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | * Knowledge and skills in using a range of software programs including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), SPSS, STATA. * Ability to work independently. * Ability to organize and prioritize tasks. * Ability to communicate effectively; perform other administrative/clerical tasks. * Aptitude in general laboratory procedures, techniques, and documentation. * Willingness to acquire competence in new techniques. |
Preferred Qualifications | Candidates must hold a science degree and good communication skills. Experience in cell culture, standard molecular biology techniques leading to set up the lab protocol is recommended, and a background in biomedical science, NMR spectroscopy study, or mouse handing would be beneficia |
