We are searching for a Research Assistant who will be assisting with all aspects of data collection, processing and analysis, as well as participant recruitment and project management. This is a great opportunity for an individual who envisions using their knowledge, skills, and experience gained, to further a career in psychological research. Required Education:

  • Appropriate bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Biology, or related field

  • Prior experience working in psychology, psychiatry (or related field) research lab

  • Prior experience writing manuscripts in psychology, psychiatry (or related field)

  • Prior experience with emotion-focused psychophysiology research

  • Prior experience working in a psychophysiology or brain imaging lab

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Prior experience working in a psychophysiology or brain imaging lab

  • Attention to detail

  • Self-motivated

Preferred Other Factor:

  • Desire to pursue a career in psychological research (e.g., seeking a Clinical Psychology PhD)

Responsibilities:

  • Collection, processing and statistical analysis of neuroscientific/psychophysiological data

  • Writing of papers, conference presentation preparation, grant preparation

  • Recruitment and screening of participants

  • Project management, IRB submission, and modification

  • Perform other duties as assigned
