The College of Pharmacy is looking for a Research Assistant to serve as a member of the Pharmaceutical Sciences team. We desire an individual who subscribes to and supports our commitment as stated above. The successful applicant will bring an expert level of experience to the position and understand the demands of supporting executives in a fast-paced environment. This person must be professional, enjoy working in a high-volume environment and be able to apply strong organizational skills while being flexible in their daily routine. Required Education:

  • Appropriate Bachelor’s or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
  • Ability to conduct in chemical synthesis of multistep reaction.
  • Ability to conduct different Chemical synthesis, interpret, and analyze data, compile results, prepare reports, and present their conclusions

Preferred Education:

  • Master's degree in chemistry/Biology-related disciplines

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with diverse individuals and communities

Job Responsibilities

Research

  • The research assistant will intensively participate in chemical synthesis.
  • The assigned work will be extended to collect, interpret, and analyze data, compile results, prepare reports, and present their conclusions.

Analyze and Document

  • Under the supervision of Pl and other team members, the research assistant will assist in collecting data from different databases, and to analyze the preliminary data.
  • The research assistant will also participate in poster and podium presentations of the collected results.

Other Duties

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
