Required Education:
- Appropriate Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
- Experience working with diverse individuals and communities.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor’s with major or minor in Neuroscience, Psychology, Biology, or related field
Preferred Experience:
- Small animal handling and bench research skills
Preferred Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Some experience with laboratory tasks (such as making solutions, autoclaving, ordering reagents)
Job Responsibilities
- Assists with behavioral studies and surgeries using rats.
- Orders lab supplies, maintenance of lab equipment and certifications, assist with compliance reviews
- Literature searches, data analyses
- Performs other duties as assigned.
