Required Education:

  • Appropriate Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
  • Experience working with diverse individuals and communities.

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor’s with major or minor in Neuroscience, Psychology, Biology, or related field

Preferred Experience:

  • Small animal handling and bench research skills

Preferred Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Some experience with laboratory tasks (such as making solutions, autoclaving, ordering reagents)


Job Responsibilities

  • Assists with behavioral studies and surgeries using rats.
  • Orders lab supplies, maintenance of lab equipment and certifications, assist with compliance reviews
  • Literature searches, data analyses
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
