Job Summary:

Under general supervision, responsible for the operation of a specialized educational/social science research area within a recognized unit. Assists with research project tasks to include recruitment, data collection, and the day to day operations of research projects.

Job Duties:

  • Assists in conducting research projects according to the research plan/project.
  • Performs duties in support of research project such as scheduling research subjects, obtaining research data, organizing data, researching records and entering data in a research database.
  • Assist in conducting literature reviews and maintains information.
  • Assists in the maintenance of information and literature, and keeps current on literature and developments in the areas of research.
  • Prepares materials for publication.
  • Trains and guides other lower level research support personnel in techniques; explains and demonstrates instrument capabilities, operations, limitations and outcomes.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in an educational/social science is required.

Experience:

  • Up to one (1) year related experience is required.
