Essential Functions (Job Duties)
Essential Functions:
Support field data collection for a longitudinal project that implements and evaluates a school-based prevention program focusing on creating protective environments in schools through school policy development and technical assistance to prevent perpetration of sexual and other related forms of violence among youth.
Coordinate qualitative analysis of written school policy documents.
Conduct coding and qualitative analysis of focus group and interview transcripts.
Coordinate data entry, cleaning, and analysis of survey data.
Support the collection of school-level data from publicly available and school-provided sources.
Support collection of data on reach of intervention activities.
Develop data management systems for multiple quantitative and qualitative data sources.
Assist in supervision of student research assistant staff.
Ongoing communication with the principal investigators and others affiliated with the project.
Maintain accounting of research related costs.
Assist in the preparation of research reports.
Support daily administrative operations of the research project.
Primarily remote work from home for the first year of the project.
Unique Duties
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required for Research Assistant
Ph.D. required for Research Associate
Must have graduate level courses in social science research (social work, psychology, sociology, nursing, education or public health).
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Experience working on social science research projects.
Comfortable with a variety of computer programs and applications.
Preferred Qualifications
MSW or related Master's degree is preferred
