The Department of Psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Research Assistant to work in Coral Gables, FL.
 

The Social Emotional Readiness Lab is seeking a dedicated and motivated part-time research assistant to join our team. The research assistant will be involved in a community-based research project with Head Start classrooms. The research assistant will be responsible for coordinating data collection within various centers across the community (e.g., consenting teachers and families and collecting teacher assessments). Additionally, the research assistant will be responsible for data management activities, including collecting, entering and verifying data and reporting results of the data collection with the PI’s and graduate students.

Duties will include:

60% - Coordinating and collecting data across various program sites in Miami-Dade County.

30% - Database management (entering, verifying, and reporting data).

5% - Attend regular meetings with PI and graduate student.

5% - Other duties as assigned.

Education:

High School degree required.

Experience:

One year of relevant work experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Previous experience working with teachers, parents, and children preferred.

Florida driver's license required for travel to collect data.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail necessary.

Adequate combination of education and experience, including experience obtained in a training setting, may be considered.
