Position Description
Advertised Job Summary | Perform research and development of numerical computing, reduced order modeling, data analytics, signal processing, machine learning, and optimization algorithms, student supervision, and project documentation and reporting and management. Remote work is allowed with the requirement for the incumbent to be on the work site as the project requires. |

Job Duties
Job Duty | Design and development of numerical algorithms, computational models, signal processing, machine learning, reduced order modeling, and multi-disciplinary optimization for multiphysics systems. These technical efforts represent the main contribution to the execution of the project tasks. The incumbent will perform literature surveys, identify potential approaches for problem-solving, and implement the solutions using Matlab and Python for validation and demonstration. |

The documents are important for disseminating research findings to sponsors and the broad professional community. The incumbent will draft the reports as required by project sponsors.
