Department Summary
The University of North Texas College of Pharmacy invites applications for a non-tenure-track Research Assistant Professor position. The selected candidate is expected to collaborate with health outcomes faculty in the Pharmacotherapy department at the University of North Texas College of Pharmacy in health economics, services and outcomes, health disparities, and health equity research. The selected candidate will assist with planning, developing, and managing grant applications, IRB protocols, research projects, publications, and presentations at national and international conferences. The candidate will also assist with maintaining a data repository (with databases such as national surveys, cancer registries, medical claims, electronic health records, and other metadata), mentoring graduate and professional students, and teaching selected online classes in the Applied Outcomes Research (AOR) program.
The position is for one year, renewable, and contingent on performance and funding availability.
Position Summary
A Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in one or more areas: health services research, epidemiology, biostatistics, health policy, economics, population health, public health, or health behavior research, and at least two years of research experience are required for consideration of this position. In addition, this position requires a strong background in quantitative skills, publication potential, good communication skills and good written skills.
