Position Summary:


The Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Genetics will work with Professor Schindler and Jains' research groups to carryout interdisciplinary research in molecular genetics and cell biology using mouse. This position will be essential to the successful completion of NIH-funded grant research on the fundamental biology of gametes and fertility. This position will lead a team of technicians, graduate students, and undergraduate researchers and report to the principal investigators/labheads Schindler and Jain. The position will design, impliment, and execute experimental plans and write/submit papers reporting results. The position and title will enable the scientist to apply for their own independent research funding from the NIH. This is a limited term, non-tenure track position at the New Brunswick/Piscataway campus. 

Minimum Education and Experience:


Ph.D. in life sciences, 10+ years of academic research
Candidates for this position should have a Ph.D. degree and show outstanding evidence of research in genetics, cell biology, and biochemistry with deep knowledge/experience with the field of gamete biology and the experimental system mouse
