The University of Chicago's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is searching for a Research Assistant Professor whose primary activity will be academic research with a faculty member or team. The appointee will contribute to research projects in women’s health across the life course, risk reduction and prevention of health conditions, and behavioral interventions. The appointee will also develop their own research portfolio, which can be supported by independent funding. 

Prior to the start of employment, applicants must have: 1) a doctoral degree with a focus on psychology, neuroscience, or related discipline and 2) have completed postdoctoral training prior to the start of employment. 

We especially welcome applicants with expertise in life course disease prevention, brain health, mixed-methods research, and quantitative analysis. Assessment of applications will consider publication records and the potential to obtain extramural funding.
